Yup you seen that right. At 11:59:59 pm December 31st 2008 there will be one second added to the clock. This is to make up for the slowing in the earths rotation. So keep that in mind when you are counting down to the new year and dont be a second to early!

Ok so following up on yesterdays post I am going to go ahead and give my opinion on the best twitter clients. Because if it was not for these I would not even use twitter because its a pain in the ass to go log into there site and everything.

Windows: Twitterfox.

This is a firefox extension that does a great job of updating twitter status and it will show you all your unread tweets that can be updated every 3 or 5 minutes. I use it fo 90% of my updates

Windows Mobile: PocketTwit.

This is a great little program. I tested quite a few for windows mobile when I finally came to this one and it does everything I could want it to do. It will update status, upload a picture to twitpic and post that to twitter and a few other nice things. Its also got a kick ass interface.

Other Mobile Platform: 40404.

Default twitter thing. But if you set it up correctly then you can just text updates and have them posted to your twitter account.

WordPress: TwitterTools.

Yes even wordpress has a plugin for twitter. Notice it to the right –>

Its called twitter tools. It will post new blogs to my twitter and post my tweets to the blog simple and easy to use. Lots of options

I realse there are other platforms out there however I have not gotten to test them all becuase I dont have the ability to. So what do you think is the best twitter client?

For the past few months I have been a twitterholic. I post on twitter all the time and watch my followers also. Its great when im mobile and take a picture and am able to updte my twitter stats with that. If anyone out there has twitter and wants to follow me I follow all who follow me. If you dont have twitter yet then I suggest getting it.

I have a unlimited texting plan on all 3 of the cell phones that are with my contact on t-mobile. It costs like $30/month. For that I do get a fair bit of usage. On a good day I can send 1000 texts or more. [I text a lot ]. But have you ever wondered how much it costs for your service provider to process those texts? A lot less than they charge you thats for sure. The New York Times has a article about this and I suggest anyone paying that premium take a look at it.
